Bisquick peach cobbler with canned peaches is a classic dessert that is easy to make and produces a deliciously sweet and comforting treat. It is made using original Bisquick mix, butter, milk, canned peaches, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. It tastes so good topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
In a small bowl, mix the water together with the corn starch. Set aside.
Put the peaches with the juice in a pot on the stove. Turn the burner to medium heat. Keep stirring.
Reduce heat to low and slowly add the water cornstarch mixture. Keep stirring.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon.
Add the sugar and cinnamon mixture to the peaches, but save enough to sprinkle over the top of the batter in step 13. Keep stirring. As soon as the peaches thicken, turn off the heat. Set aside.
Preparing the Bisquick Mixture
Put the Bisquick® in a bowl.
Add the sugar, milk, and melted butter to the Bisquick®. Mix together to form the cobbler batter.
Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Pour 3/4 of the batter into the baking dish.
Pour all of the peaches over the top of the batter.
Finish pouring the rest of the batter over the peaches.
Sprinkle the leftover cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the batter.
Bake in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 48 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Peach cobbler tastes great warm or cold, and it is extra yummy with ice cream.
Peach cobbler also tastes great topped with some whipped cream.
If you prefer, you can use fresh peaches instead of canned peaches.
