These frozen burgers in the air fryer are so tasty and easy to make. The clean-up is so quick and painless that you will never go back to frying burgers in a frying pan again! It only takes about 20 to 23 minutes until dinner is served!
Put a sheet of parchment paper with holes in it (must have holes in it) over the top of the air fryer basket. If you don’t have parchment paper, brush oil on the basket or use cooking spray.
Place the frozen burger patties on top of the parchment paper. Do not overlap. Season the top side of the burgers with gourmet burger seasoning.
Put the basket in the air fryer. Cook for 20 to 23 minutes for well done. Flip the hamburgers halfway through the cooking process and put seasoning on the other side after you flip them over. The internal temperature should be 160 degrees with no pink showing inside the hamburger patties when done.
Get your buns ready and all of the trimmings. Mayo, relish, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomato, and onions sound good.
After the burger patties are done, turn the air fryer off and take the basket out. Put slices of cheddar cheese over the top of each one.
While the air fryer is turned off, put the basket back into the air fryer and let it set until the cheese melts which is about 1 to 2 minutes. The air fryer is still hot enough to melt the cheese.
Put the hamburger patties on the buns and enjoy.
Notes
Each air fryer can cook differently. Keep an eye on the food you cook and adjust the time and temperature if need be.
If you do use parchment paper, make sure it has holes in it. The holes allow the air fryer to work properly.
You can use fresh ground beef patties that have not been frozen. Adjust the time accordingly by fewer minutes since frozen food takes longer to cook.
