medium size beef round top round roast
about 3 pounds

Lawry's seasoned salt

table salt

ground black pepper
enough water to cover the pot roast
1
raw onion
sliced
4
raw potatoes
1
small bag of raw carrots
or two 14.5 ounce cans of pre-cooked whole carrots

cut green beans
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
Put the pot roast in the roasting pan.
Add enough water to cover the pot roast.
Toss the slices of raw onion in the roasting pan and over the top of the roast.
Sprinkle the Lawry's seasoned salt, regular table salt, and pepper over the roast and in the water.
Put the roasting pan in the oven for about 2 hours.
After 2 hours, add the potatoes and the small bag of carrots to the roasting pan. Bake about 1 more hour.
About 20 minutes before the pot roast, potatoes and carrots are done, add the cans of green beans.
Notes
You can use whatever pot roast meat you like the best.
Depending on how many people will be eating dinner with you will determine how many potatoes you will need. Figure about one potato per person.
If you are using 2 cans of pre-cooked carrots, add them at the same time you add the green beans.
