Mix the McCormick chipotle pepper marinade packets with the water and the oil. Set aside for now.
Cut the chicken into small chunks. Put the chicken pieces into a large ziplock bag.
Add the marinade mixture to the bag with the chicken. Let the chicken soak in the marinade for at least 15 minutes, up to a couple of hours, or even overnight, in the refrigerator. The longer the chicken marinades, the better.
Cut up the onion and the bell peppers.
After the chicken has been marinated for at least 15 minutes or more, put it into a frying pan and fry the chicken until it is no longer pink.
Add the bell peppers and onions to the frying pan and keep frying until the vegetables are tender.
The total cooking time will be about 45 minutes.
Serve the chicken, bell peppers, and onion mixture in tortillas and add cheese or any of your favorite toppings.
Notes
Other seasonings can be added to the chicken fajitas recipe.
If you aren't a fan of white meat, use chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts.
